Employee shifts are rotated on a regularly scheduled basis. This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.This position has a requirement to lift up to 45 lbs.This is an Inclement Weather Essential position, you must make every attempt to report for work on time and/or remain on duty during severe weather conditions.Due to the nature of this position, employees are subject to work both planned and unscheduled irregular tours of duty to support 24/7 operations, which includes evenings, weekends and holidays.Incumbent must possess and maintain a valid drivers license.Incumbent must pass pre-employment medical examination.
Tentatively selected applicants will be required to sign DA Form 5019 requiring participation in random drug urinalysis testing. This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) subject to applicant testing and random drug testing.Persons convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence are not eligible for the position. This position is covered by the 1996 Lautenberg Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968.Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
